Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII) is the Indonesian Institution of Engineers, which was established in 1952 by Ir. Djuanda Kartawidjaja and Dr. Rooseno Soeryohadikoesoemo on assignment from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Ir. Sukarno. It is a professional organization that represents and serves engineers in Indonesia.
PII’s mission is to promote the development of engineering and technology in Indonesia, as well as to enhance the professional competence of its members. The organization has a membership of over 14,000 professional engineers, who come from various engineering fields, including civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and industrial engineering.
